On February 11th, 2012 I said YES! 

*Here are our separate retellings of our proposal! 

On the night of February 11th, 2012 Alex and I left her house around 8:15 heading to the spot i had picked out. It was a boating dock out in Mt. Juliet. My plan was too lay blankets down, listen to a playlist i had made on itunes and when the perfect song came on, i was going to serenade her and then pop the question!! So, we finally get down to the dock a little before nine and i get out of the car and go to set up all the blankets on the dock. There was too much poop (I'm assuming from the geese) on the dock to lay any blankets down, so we moved over to the grass. We are all cuddled up in the pile of blankets in 30 degree weather. As we were freezing our butts off the song "Make This Go On Forever" by Snow Patrol came on and we stopped kissing and i stood her up, got down on one knee, then asked the most beautiful girl in the entire history of the universe if she would marry me! She said yes...OF COURSE!! once i got the ring on her freezing, beautiful, finger, we snatched up the blankets and sprinted to the heat in the car haha! She then called her mom and couldn't stop smiling:) we celebrated with her parents then soon after with my parents. After all the celebrating, we drove around all night together to celebrate with eachother by spending the entire night with our most favorite people in the whole wide world. -

On February 11th, 2012 Cameron and I celebrated my mom's birthday dinner with her at Ruby Tuesdays! After we celebrated with her, we were going to go on a road trip for our four year anniversary! After that, we went back to my house to gather up blankets and things, and i kissed him and stuck my hands in his back pockets, but he got really antsy and backed away quickly! Thinking this could be the night, my heart raced, but I calmed it down just incase it wasn't happening, I didn't want to be disappointed on this perfect night!! He works nights so he's usually up all night anyways, we were just going to drive all night and see where the road takes us and then plug home in our GPS the next day! Cameron made a playlist and we hit the road. Our first stop, he picked out the dock, which is my favorite place on the planet!  I love being by the water and the stars that surround the lake, especially with my favorite person! He brought blankets and made a pallet for us to lay on outside because it was so cold!! He got his laptop out of the car and brought the playlist out to me and we snuggled up beneath the stars, he kissed me and then stood me up and got down on one knee and asked if i would marry him! I said YES YES YES! CAN I HAVE MY RING!? :) He picked me up and spun me around and kissed me, and then we headed out to celebrate with my parents, and sip champagne with his! We headed out for our road trip and drove around all night with our energy drinks and favorite music just enjoying each others company!  I CANNOT wait to marry my very best friend! :)
